Στο πλαίσιο της σειράς 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, το Σάββατο 21 Μαρτίου, ο κινηματογραφιστής Δημήτρης Βρακάς παρουσιάζει το ντοκιμαντέρ «Πατήσια».
Την προβολή προλογίζει ο Δημήτρης Βρακάς ενώ στο τέλος της θα ακολουθήσει συζήτηση με τους συμμετέχοντες στο φιλμ που θα παρευρίσκονται.
Πατήσια
Μια ανθρωποκεντρική περιγραφή των Πατησίων με την κάμερα να κάνει συχνά στάσεις σε γειτονιές για να ακούσει τις μαρτυρίες των κατοίκων. Ένα μωσαϊκό από ανθρώπους διαφόρων κοινωνικών στρωμάτων και εθνικοτήτων, σε μια περιοχή της Αθήνας που αλλάζει στο πέρασμα του χρόνου ενώ διατηρεί την αύρα μια συνοικίας που κάποτε ανθούσε.

Αυτοδίδακτος κινηματογραφιστής από την Θεσσαλονίκη. Έχει δημιουργήσει δεκάδες ντοκιμαντέρ: In Tallinn (2011), Πρωί (2013), Out of the norm (2015), Κι εμείς οι αυτιστικοί (2023), Πατήσια (2025), είναι μερικά από την φιλμογραφία του. Παράλληλα με την σκηνοθεσία, εικονοληψία και το μοντάζ σε ντοκιμαντέρ και μουσικά βίντεο, παίζει κιθάρα στο αγγλόφωνο indie pop συγκρότημα Secret Postcards, ενώ από το 2001 κάνει τον Dj σε διάφορα μπαρ και club κυρίως στην Θεσσαλονίκη.

As part of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 series, on Saturday, March 21, filmmaker Dimitris Vrakas presents the documentary "Patisia" (screening in Greek with English subtitles).
The screening will be introduced by 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐕𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬, followed by a discussion with the film's participants who will be in attendance.
𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚
A people-centric description of the Patisia area, where the camera often stops in the streets to listen to the residents' thoughts. A mosaic made of people of different social classes and ethnicities in Patisia, a place that changes with the passage of time, while retaining the feeling of a once blooming Athenian neighbourhood.

𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐕𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬
A self-taught filmmaker from Thessaloniki, he has created dozens of documentaries: In Tallinn (2011), Morning (2013), Out of the Norm (2015) and Patisia (2025) are a few works from his filmography. Alongside directing, cinematography, and editing for documentaries and music videos, he plays guitar in the English-speaking indie pop band Secret Postcards, and has been DJing at various bars and clubs, primarily in Thessaloniki, since 2001.
