About this Event
WHAT and WHO IS SKETCHNSTUDIO?:
For those who don’t know, we are an art studio for all ages located only in Bakersfield, CA. We opened our studio during the pandemic, October 1, 2021. We have been spending our days N-studio creating beautiful artworks.
We are hosting another event to bring the community together all while kicking off summer with Fun Fridays. We cater to all ages so bring your toddlers, your teens, your friends, and your parents. No one is excluded. Although our theme features “SpongeBob”, our focus is under the sea. Come into the studio knowing you can create anything your heart desires. We provide an idea, you create the masterpiece.
WHAT TO EXPECT…
We have many stations in our studio all with a different experience. Stations are set to accommodate age group, developmental stages, and skills/art of choice. For the Event, we will have 3 themed based stations.
Station 1: Edible SpongeBob Craft
Station 2: Canvas Painting
Station 3: Clay sculpting
Our studio facilitates mess making so please dress for a mess. Wearing aprons in our studio is optional and will be provided upon request. We have both reusable and disposable aprons.
Your ticket purchase grants you access to the entire studio excluding the Art-apparel section and the splatter room. If you’d like to partake in either of those excluded Experiences, you must book on our website: www.sketchnstudio.com.
The front splatter space will be available to those who choose to splatter on their canvas. Water guns filled with paint and paint balls to throw can be purchased at an additional cost to make for a more messy experience.
Our Kidz Zone will be filled with sensory stations as well as lots of toys.
Masks are not mandatory. At anytime you feel uncomfortable, please ask the studio staff for a mask.
To aid in quick, efficient hand washing, We have 3 sinks in our studio. Two large sinks are located just past our back room door and one sink is located in the bathroom. We have hand sanitizing stations located in the front and back of our studio.
*If you feel ill or have a runny nose, cough, or fever, please stay home.
Snacks are allowed in our studio
No alcoholic drinks please, you will be asked to leave. We are a no alcohol space and family friendly.
We have minimal seating in the front and back of our studio. Only paid participants can sit at the stations. Ages 7 years old and up can be dropped off. Please register your child by Thursday if you plan to drop them off for this event.
