Attention flag Palm Beach County athletes! A NEW style of flag football league is coming to West Boynton at Canyon District Park this winter, starting on December 5th. 'Under the Lights' flag football is very different than the local leagues that you are used to!
Here are just some of the reasons why 'Under the Lights' is so popular:
Utilize 6v6 format with a heavy emphasis on passing- with a sack count.
This teaches QBs to read defenses quickly, work through progressions, and ensures development. This also focuses on the development of wide receivers and defensive players.
Passing leagues that you see on TV developed from the UTL format.
Depending on age group, no runs allowed.
Rules are modified for younger kids and HS girl's division to align with their development.
Competitive co-ed flag football league PreK through High School (girls).
Offers multiple divisions based on age/grade level- matching age groups so kids aren't forced to play up.
Winter 2025 season will be played on Friday Nights- Under the Lights.
Offers Girl's only divisions, 3rd through12th grade - (flag football is one of the fastest growing sports for females in the nation). Coaches & Parents consistently report that girls who play flag football demonstrate growth in confidence, leadership, and resilience.
HS girls can use this as preparation for the upcoming high school seasons in the spring (FHSAA rules, modified).
Players can request to play with friends, entire teams are welcome, your favorite coach can be requested.

We offer coaching clinics to players and new coaches.
Travel Teams will use this as preparation for Tampa Worlds and Disney / ESPN Youth Championships.
