About this Event
As New York City celebrates its 400th anniversary, its last remaining creeks and streams provide an important link to a wilder past. Over the last 15 years, artist and journalist Nathan Kensinger has documented dozens of these remote waterways, tracking their flows from hidden headwaters down to deltas and wetlands. With sea levels beginning to rise, these little-known bodies of water will soon have a dramatic impact on the neighborhoods surrounding them.
