About this Event
Uncorking Education is a live keynote event hosted by Sarah Fudge, M.Ed., Connecticut-certified special education teacher, literacy specialist, Master's degree in Reading, and founder of Saybrook Reading and OG Learning Lab. Sarah will share her personal story of growing up with dyslexia, the struggles she faced without the right support, and the school she built so no child in Connecticut has to go through what she did.
This is not a lecture. It is a story. And if you are a parent who has watched your child struggle with reading, it is a story that will speak directly to your heart.

Who Should Attend
This evening is for parents of children who struggle with reading, families who suspect dyslexia but are not sure what to do next, educators and advocates who support children with learning differences, and anyone who wants to understand how the right instruction can change a child's entire academic future.
About The Learning Lab Foundation
The Learning Lab Foundation is a nonprofit scholarship fund created to ensure that financial circumstances never determine whether a child receives the expert dyslexia instruction they deserve. A portion of donations collected at Uncorking Education will go directly to scholarships for families in need. Every dollar goes directly to families. Not overhead. Not administration. Directly to the children who need it most.
