About Ancora False Creek
Embracing the harmony of Peruvian and Japanese cultures while incorporating the bounty of the West Coast

Ancora's cuisine manifesto is hinged on sustainable seafood, while sourcing local and international ingredients, and draws inspiration from its Pacific Northwest surroundings. Understanding the city's dining evolution has inspired Ancora to create a menu that accommodates all of its diners' culinary desires, combining flavours and techniques which embrace several diverse cultures in a modern, yet approachable setting.

Ancora False Creek's dining space was designed with soft modern lines that embrace the warmth and richness of the city's waterfront landscape. The interiors feature a subtle mix of soft blues, sand-inspired neutrals and light woods to thoughtfully reflect a gentle, coastal feel, and a serene but sophisticated style. Gorgeous fishnet-inspired crystal chandeliers were imported from Italy, along with custom-colour premium leather furniture sourced from Europe. The back feature wall in the lower dining room was enhanced with soft gold wall tiles that mimic the ocean's waves. The bar, a mainstay of the room, was finished with rich walnut, faced with a unique, wood-mosaic tile, and topped with gorgeous onyx. Lighting underneath further highlights the beauty of the natural veining of the stone incorporated into the bar. Not to be forgotten, the private dining room brings an ambiance of upscale elegance that's ideal for small parties or private get-togethers.

About Tinhorn Creek Vineyards

Leandro Nosal

Growing up in Mendoza, one of the Great Wine Capitals, Leandro’s passion for winemaking and viticulture has been a lifelong interest. This thirst inspired a desire to follow his dreams around the globe from France to New Zealand, thus developing deep knowledge of diverse styles as well as experience in oenology and viticulture. Leandro strongly believes that low intervention winemaking is the best way to make wines that truly show their terroir. He has learned his technical winemaking skilling, by studying and working with the best in the industry, including Pernod Ricard and Grupo Penaflor. Leandro now leads winemaking at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, where he is looking forward to showcasing all that the terroir has to offer with a deep dedication to crafting distinguished wines from the Southern Okanagan.

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards

They say that joy is born of gratitude, which may explain why we at Tinhorn Creek are such happy people. From the beginning in 1993,when we laid our roots on the Golden Mile Bench in the South Okanagan, we knew we were blessed with extraordinary soil and very special vineyards, and we feel compelled to do right by that gift by being intentional stewards. In day-to-day life, that looks like caring for the ecosystem we call home, nurturing the people in our world and paying it forward in every way we can. We nurture the nature you love to make extraordinary wines from extraordinary soil.
