You’ve learned the basics of uncial—now it’s time to evolve! This workshop is designed for students who are already familiar with the foundational forms of uncial calligraphy and are ready to refine their strokes, explore variations, and master the nuances of this elegant script.
From subtle stylistic shifts to bold new interpretations, you’ll gain the skills to make uncial your own while maintaining the beauty and integrity of this historic style.
WHO: This class is designed for adults and mature adolescents.
PREREQUISITE: At least 4 months studying uncial, and being relatively comfortable with dip pens.
WHERE: Online via Zoom.
(LIVE interactive online workshop, 12 students maximum)
RECORDINGS: Available for review for an extended period.
WHEN: This class includes 4 weekly lessons,
on Mondays, July 28 through August 18, 2025,
from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Eastern Time.
