Our November London Girls Book Club pick is Uncharmed by Lucy Jane Wood — and we’re thrilled that Lucy will be joining us in person for this cosy fantasy discussion! 💛📚

Set in the whimsical world of Selcouth, Uncharmed is a standalone story (though its events take place before Belle’s adventures in Rewitched both can be enjoyed completely on their own 💫)

Andromeda “Annie” Wildwood is a seemingly perfect witch and proud owner of the Celestial Bakehouse... a pink, magical London bakery where perfection is everything… until life starts to get delightfully messy 🍰✨

When Annie is tasked with mentoring a fiery teenage witch named Maeve and moves into a woodland cottage with grumpy but charming Hal, she begins to realise that maybe being perfect isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Uncharmed is a heartwarming tale of cosy witchcraft, self belief, found family, and the joy of embracing who you truly are.

Join Caitlin Curry, Lucy Jane Wood, and fellow book lovers for a magical evening of warm conversation, delicious pastries, and a deep dive into this feel good, witchy world. There are two types of tickets:

1. Ticket with the book Uncharmed included – includes a copy of Uncharmed (available to pick up from The Book Elephant from 5th November), plus entry to the book club discussion, snacks and welcome drink – £26.50
2. Ticket without book – includes entry to the book club discussion, snacks and welcome drink, with the chance to buy a copy and get it signed on the night – £15.00
