About this Event
Gallery curator harris started with printed images of Guernica and The Entombment of Christ, by Picasso and Caravaggio respectively, merging them into a large collage and placing them on display in the main floor Genesis Gallery. She and her assistant Sae Kimura then began responding to the collaged paintings using many scraps of fabric, sewing them in place gradually, day by day. This exhibit will evolve through January.
One of the gallery's unusual features is the development of exhibitions during opening hours, allowing visitors to witness the process directly.
