About this Event
The 1995 Beijing Platform for Action (BPfA) defined education for women as fundamental to realizing their rights and emphasized the importance of ensuring equal access to education.
This NGO Parallel Event will provide a platform for women who have undergone peace education to share their experiences and discuss their role in peace processes. It will explore how peace education fosters women’s empowerment and active participation and identify practical strategies for expanding access to peace education globally.
