The Legacy of Umoja Ball:
This year’s Umoja Ball: Royal Homecoming marks the 15th anniversary of our beloved gala. It is a night where tradition meets elegance and the spirit of unity shines brighter than ever.
Join us as we celebrate Africa’s rich tapestry with the best African DJ and MC, electrifying performances by Asambe, stunning Burundian dancers, and vibrant music, dance, and storytelling that bring us closer to our roots. We cannot wait to celebrate this milestone with you.
Attire Guidelines:
Strict Dress Code: Embrace your heritage in traditional wear or dress to impress in formal attire. Your choice of outfit speaks volumes, so ensure it aligns with the spirit of the evening.
Entry & Identification:
UVA IDs are Crucial! All attendees from UVA must present their UVA IDs for entry at the UVA student rate. If you forget your ID, you will be required to pay the general admission (non-UVA student) rate. No exceptions will be made.
