What to Bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, water or cold drinks, a backpack, cap, sunglasses, and sunblock.
The Hike:
Approx. 10km
Difficulty:
Casual Hiker: Grade 2
Regular Hiker: Grade 1 (mostly flat forest and dune walk)
Duration: 3-4 hours

Mangroves and the unique raphia palm forest (a national monument and home to the elusive palm-nut vulture)

We require a minimum of 10 confirmed and paid bookings to proceed with this event. If the quota isn’t met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be processed.
No refund or credit will be given if you are a no-show.
In the case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled with a new date or a refund will be offered.
There is an additional R40 per person payable at the gate when entering the reserve (free with Rhino Card).
