This special evening will recognize the recipients of the UMAR Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships as well as the Dorothy Arata Outstanding Dissertation Award for 2025–2026.The program will feature guest speaker Dr. Brian Waldron, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research (CAESER), who will share insights from his research on Memphis’ most vital natural resource—the aquifer that sustains our region.
