OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONSBBH Ultimate Angler Brag Board Competition
1. Promoter
The promoter is Beadon Bay Hotel (BBH).
2. Eligibility
• Entry is open to persons aged 18 years and over.
• Entrants must be able to attend BBH in person to claim prizes.
• BBH staff and their immediate family members are ineligible to win prizes.
3. Entry Requirements
To enter, participants must:
• Catch a fish in local Onslow waters during the relevant calendar month.
• Take a clear photo with their catch.
• Submit the photo either by:
o Tagging BBH on social media with a “Hey BBH, look what I caught” style post, OR
o Emailing the photo to [email protected]
The catch must be verifiably caught within the month of entry and within local Onslow waters. BBH reserves the right to request additional information to verify eligibility.
4. Monthly Selection Process
• BBH staff will select four (4) entries each month to be displayed on the Ultimate Angler Brag Board in hotel reception.
• Selection is at the sole discretion of BBH staff and is based on overall impression (size, species, uniqueness, photo quality, and story).
• Decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Brag Board Reward
Entrants whose photos are selected for the Brag Board:
• Must attend BBH in person to confirm selection.
• Will receive one (1) complimentary pint of XXXX beer (or equivalent LION tap beer if unavailable).
• Must be present to have their photo taken in front of the board for promotional purposes.
6. Monthly Winner
Each month, one (1) winner will be selected from the four displayed entries.
The Monthly Winner will receive:
• One (1) carton of XXXX beer cans
• One (1) BBH 100 Years Fishing Shirt
The winning photo will be displayed in the “Winners Section” of the Brag Board and automatically entered into the Major Prize draw.
7. Major Prize
• In August 2026, BBH will invite public voting for “Best Catch of the Year” via social media.
• On 14 August 2026 all monthly winners will be invited to attend BBH for the live announcement.
• The overall winner will receive a $2,500 rod and reel combo.
• The major prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
8. Promotion & Media
By entering, participants:
• Grant BBH permission to publish their photo, name, and likeness on BBH social media channels, website, and in-venue promotional materials.
• Agree to participate in promotional photography if selected.
9. Responsible Fishing
All fish must be caught in accordance with WA recreational fishing regulations. BBH reserves the right to disqualify any entry that appears unlawful, unsafe, or unethical.
10. General
• BBH reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion at any time.
• BBH accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.
• Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
