Honouring the rich heritage found throughout Central Alberta, join us for a 2-hour hands-on Ukrainian culinary experience. Begin with a seasonal favourite — strawberry varenyky — delicate dumplings that celebrate the start of summer, served with candied beets, tvorog (farmer’s cheese), and fresh mint. Students will then take full part in preparing the classic chicken Kyiv, where tender chicken breast is wrapped around herb butter, lightly breaded, and cooked to a perfect golden brown. Served alongside is a traditional vinaigrette potato salad. To finish, each guest will take home a slice of creamy tvorog cheesecake to enjoy later.
