писанка [pysanka] — a hand-decorated egg, one of Ukraine's oldest ritual art forms. each symbol carries meaning: protection, fertility, the sun, new life.

back in the day, when the year began in spring, pysanka was a community ritual, a way to create a protective charm for the coming year. and we're bringing that ritual to amsterdam
