Join us on May 30th for a screening of "Kherson: Human Safari" followed by a virtual Q&A with the director.

7:20 pm: virtual Q&A with director Zarina Zabrisky

Kherson: Human Safari is a documentary film about the city of Kherson in the south of Ukraine during the full scale invasion, when it was occupied by Russian forces, then liberated and later subject to "human safari" targeting of civilians by Russian drones. The story is told by inhabitants of the city who lived through this and helped Kherson survive.

Admission: We kindly encourage a donation of $20 (or whatever you are comfortable with) for admission at the door (cash/Venmo/PayPal/Zelle). Half of your donation can be tax deductible, we are happy to provide a receipt if you are interested e-mail: [email protected]

100% of these donations will be shared between two reputable organizations that help Ukraine:

Volunteer Movement UA-USA: 501(c)(3) non-profit charity focused on getting tactical medicine to Ukraine. Works in collaboration with Волонтерський Рух (Volunteer Movement), a Ukrainian-based charity established in 2014.

We will have Ukrainian vendors showcasing and selling their arts, crafts and more- their proceeds will go to support various Ukrainian causes.

The Polish Club will be selling delicious Polish food and drinks before and after the film. All proceeds from these sales will go toward upkeep of the Polish Club.
