Kherson: Human Safari is a documentary film about the city of Kherson in the south of Ukraine during the full scale invasion when it was occupied by Russian forces, then liberated and later subject to "human safari" targeting of civilians by Russian drones. The story is told by inhabitants of the city who lived through this. This "human safari" is currently ongoing in Kherson, with drone attacks occurring to this day.
The film's director, Zarina Zabrisky, has been a San Francisco resident since the '90s and has been based in Ukraine as a war correspondent since the full-scale invasion. This film has been screened more than 100 times all over the world, but this is the first screening in Zarina's home town!
