The UK Games Expo is the largest tabletop gaming convention in the UK and caters for almost all types of boardgames, card games, wargaming, roleplaying games and anything else that might be considered a game, whether it needs a table or not.It's a really busy weekend for gamers, with lots of stalls, activities, games and lots of other stuff to see and do. It seemingly gets busier and bigger every year, so much so that some might find it better to plan where to go and what to see. You can play demo's of games from the coming year or even see stuff before it gets launched/funded on Kickstarter.
The second-hand sale is always popular too, with hundreds of games getting submitted throughout the weekend, with the majority finding new homes to live in. Queues to submit are normal, sometimes with an option to submit games the day before the convention opens to the public.
This is a planned excursion to this event and not any sort of official part of the convention itself.
