About 3 months to go now so putting this up as people might be wanting to start making plans soon for going - would be great if anyone from this group is up for joining me at the Expo this year! For anyone who hasn't been in previous years, the UK Games Expo is by far the largest tabletop gaming convention in the UK and is a great day/weekend out for anyone that likes the sorts of games that we play at the Monday night meetups!Not sure which day I'll be going yet, could depend what other interest there is from the group - if you plan to visit for just one day I'd recommend the Friday or Saturday as it has longer opening hours than on the Sunday. If planning to come then do mark yourself as going and let us know your plans in the comments if so :) I have posted on both our FB and our Meetup page.

Tickets are £18 per day this year or combined tickets if you will be attending for multiple days are available - not normally a need to buy in advance as it doesn't sell out, though if you want to attend any of the special events that are listed with their own tickets those can fill up.
The NEC is around a 1.5 hour drive from Cambridge assuming no delays; you can park either in the NEC car parks or in the Birmingham International Station car park (I normally do the latter as it's slightly cheaper if attending for a single day only and is just a few minutes walk from the Expo halls - the NEC's own are cheaper if attending for multiple days). If travelling by train, Birmingham International Station is a next to the NEC.
