About this Event
Ulndy FSC is a residential or commuter camp for strings players entering grades 7 through 12 and those who graduated during the school year of the camp (December 2025 and May
2026). To participate in the camp, players only need a minimum nine months of playing experience on a string instrument (violin/viola/cello/bass/guitar). This camp is unique because we focus on alternative music styles, including jazz, rock, hip-hop, and fiddle music.
The goal is to provide string players with opportunities to learn and perform musical styles that you will not typically experience in school ensembles. You'll make new friends whether you stay on campus with us or return home in the evenings. This is a wonderful
opportunity to grow as a musician through music classes, jam sessions, rehearsals, sectionals, and a final performance. You will experience high quality instruction from professional performers and teachers.
Camp activities take place on Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 8:45 pm. Hours on Saturday, June 20 are 8:45 am to noon, with the camp concert beginning at 12:00 pm and ending by 1:00 pm. Parking is free and available in both the west and lots at the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center.
