About this Event
We are hosting the 13th Annual UIC Honors Band Festival on October 24-26, 2025 at the UIC School of Theatre & Music and UIC Student Center East.
The UIC Honors Band Festival brings together top high school students from the greater-Chicago region for an engaging weekend of musical collaboration culminating in a concert performance. During the festival, students will work with a distinguished guest conductor, attend a performance from UIC Ensembles, participate in a masterclass with UIC performance faculty, and perform in a shared final concert with the UIC Wind Ensemble. Students must be nominated by their high school band director or private lesson instructor to be eligible to participate.
