Pollack Porter, PhD, MPH, Bloomberg Centennial Professor and the Bloomberg Centennial Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Pollack Porter will present a talk entitled “Promoting Policies that Advance Health Equity” and will be available to answer questions after the talk.

About Our Speaker

Dr. Keshia Pollack Porter is a Bloomberg Centennial Professor and the Bloomberg Centennial Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Pollack Porter is a health equity scholar whose research advances policies that create safe and healthy environments where people live, work, play, and travel, with an emphasis on addressing structural drivers of health and promoting effective multi-sector collaborations. Dr. Pollack Porter is an internationally recognized leader in promoting health in all policies, and the development of methodologies that promote health and equity considerations in policy decisions across multiple sectors to advance a Culture of Health. Dr. Pollack Porter is co-author of the recently published book, Policy Engagement (APHA Press 2023).
