‘Søg & Giv Lys’ er en udstilling af Olivia Brix og Lukas Keysell, som forener maleri, keramik og interaktiv installationskunst i et meditativt og sanseligt rum. Udstillingen kredser om længslen efter at genforenes med oldtidens mystik og visdom – en tid, hvor mennesket levede tættere forbundet med naturen, hinanden og sit indre.
Du træder ind i et stemningsfuldt rum, hvor lys, lyd og vand flettes sammen med malerier og skulpturelle værker. Publikum inviteres ikke blot til at betragte, men til at sanse, mærke og være til stede. Kunstnerne udfordrer den traditionelle måde at opleve kunst på med et ønske om at skabe rum for ro, refleksion og nærvær.

Olivia Brix (DK) og Lukas Keysell (UK/DK) er begge billedkunstnere med base i København. Sammen har de skabt en række installationer og udstillinger i Danmark og rundt omkring i Europa. Deres fælles praksis fokuserer på at skabe sanselige og rumlige oplevelser, hvor lys, lyd, materiale og krop indgår i et dynamisk samspil.
Lukas Keysell arbejder malerisk ud fra en intuitiv og meditativ proces, hvor han undersøger form, komposition og visuel fortælling gennem energiske linjer, mønstre og abstrakte strukturer. Med inspiration fra gamle civilisationer, tidlige billedformer og shamanistiske traditioner udforsker han fælles kulturelle spor og spirituelle erfaringer på tværs af tid og sted.
Olivia Brix arbejder med keramik, lys og tekstil i krydsfeltet mellem skulptur og performative processer. Hendes praksis undersøger ritualistisk adfærd og symboler, der med inspiration fra mytologiske fortællinger og et cyklisk perspektiv skaber et organisk formsprog, der undersøger spændingen mellem vækst og forfald. Olivia skaber værker, der inviterer til sanselig fordybelse og refleksion over menneskets relation til natur, tid og kosmiske sammenhænge.

‘Seek & Give Light’ is an exhibition by Olivia Brix and Lukas Keysell, bringing together painting, ceramics, and interactive installation art in a meditative and sensory space. The exhibition revolves around a longing to reconnect with ancient mysticism and wisdom — a time when humans lived more closely connected to nature, to one another and to their inner selves.
Visitors step into an atmospheric environment where light, sound, and water intertwine with paintings and sculptural works. The audience is invited not only to observe, but to sense, feel, and be present. The artists challenge the traditional way of experiencing art, with a desire to create space for calm reflection.

🎨 About the artists:
Olivia Brix (DK) and Lukas Keysell (UK/DK) are both visual artists based in Copenhagen. Together, they have created a series of installations and exhibitions in Denmark and across Europe. Their shared practice focuses on creating sensory and spatial experiences where light, sound, material and the body interact in a dynamic dialogue.
Lukas Keysell works primarily through an intuitive and meditative painting process, exploring form, composition and visual storytelling through energetic lines, patterns and abstract structures. Inspired by ancient civilizations, early image-making, and shamanistic traditions, he investigates shared cultural traces and spiritual experiences across time and place.
Olivia Brix works with ceramics, light and textiles at the intersection of sculpture and performative processes. Her practice explores ritual behavior and symbolism, drawing inspiration from mythological narratives and cyclical perspectives, to create an organic visual language that examines the tension between growth and decay. Olivia’s works invite sensory immersion and reflection on humanity’s relationship with nature, time and interconnectedness.
