Hello fellow Tritons! Please save the date (Saturday, Dec 3,) for our annual year-end alumni dinner.
This year, we will enjoy an intimate gathering at the top French cheese importer (Le Comptoir 康拓洋行) in Taiwan for a traditional Raclette Dinner. If you have never had the experience, Raclette (a type of cheese) is a winter tradition in France and Switzerland that has a very similar "feel" to Taiwanese 火鍋 or 'hot pot'. One cooks cured meats and vegetables with cheese together around common tables...a very fun and social format, like hot pot.
The cost will be NT$1500 for non-drinkers and $2000 for those who drink wine. Le Comptoir is also a top wine importer, so there will be plenty of nice wines available!
Our UCSD Alumni group will have the use of the entire venue. Dinner seating maximum will be around 30人. Given that we had 40 attendees last year, please let me know your intention to attend at your earliest convenience.
