About this Event

The UCL - The Alan Turing Institute Town Hall Meeting will offer the UCL academic community an opportunity to hear more about the Institute’s new strategy and avenues for engagement within the newly established Turing University Network.

The event is open to all UCL staff who are working on or are interested in data science and artificial intelligence research and who engage with or support engagement with the Turing.

Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about forthcoming research and engagement opportunities with The Alan Turing Institute.

The Town Hall will be followed by refreshments and networking in the Cloisters.

15:00 – 15:15 – Welcome by Professor Nigel Titchener-Hooker, Dean of UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences, and Professor Miguel Rodrigues, UCL - The Turing Academic Liaison Lead

15:15 – 15:45 – Presentation by Dr Jean Innes, The Alan Turing Institute CEO

15:45 – 16:10 – Audience questions and answers

16:10 – 16:50 – Small group discussions and feedback on UCL – the Turing Engagement and the Turing 2.0 Activity Areas

16:50 –17:00 – Closing remarks from Dr Jean Innes, Professor Nigel Titchener-Hooker and Professor Miguel Rodrigues
