While fireworks light up the sky this Independence Day, many shelter animals experience fear and anxiety from the loud noises. You can help bring them comfort.
Join the Union County Humane Society on Friday, July 4th from 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM for a special “Readers to the Rescue” event. Community members are invited to spend time inside the shelter reading aloud to our dogs and cats, helping provide calm, companionship, and distraction during the fireworks.
Bring your favorite book, story, magazine, or simply your voice — the animals will appreciate the comfort more than you know. 🇺🇸🐶🐱
