About this Event
Join us for the opening of Blue-Yellow Series, a new visual art exhibition by Ukrainian artist Yurko Gutsulyak. Through six striking posters, Gutsulyak reimagines the Ukrainian flag, translating its iconic blue and yellow into light wavelengths, pigment formulas, wildflowers, sign language, and print or digital codes.
The exhibition offers a contemplative exploration of identity, resilience, and cultural memory, showing how symbols endure even in times of crisis. Opening night will feature remarks from the artist and an opportunity to engage with the concepts and creative processes behind the series.
Blue-Yellow Series will be on view from October 20–25 at Teatro LATEA, allowing audiences to experience the work up close and reflect on the evolving meanings of national symbols, solidarity, and hope.
Whether you are interested in contemporary Ukrainian art, design, or cultural discourse, this exhibition invites visitors into an immersive encounter with identity, memory, and the enduring power of symbols.
This ticket purchase is for the opening reception on Tuesday, October 20th at 7pm.
Daily viewing from 3-6pm on October 20-25 is free / open to the public.
