This year, the Biotech Innovation Gallery is growing! The Innovation and Economic Development Office at UC Davis brings you an expanded program spotlighting the translational research, startups, and bold innovations emerging from UC Davis, UC Davis Health, and our new innovation district, Aggie Square.
The agenda will include brief presentations, showcases, networking and other learning opportunities centered around the following topics:

- Korean Biotechnology Accelerator Program 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Discover how UC Davis and FLANN are partnering to accelerate U.S. market entry for innovative Korean life sciences companies through targeted support in regulatory navigation, clinical collaboration, and commercialization. This program connects Korean startups with U.S. manufacturers, distributors, investors, and strategic partners to build strong commercialization pathways. The event will feature pitches from three Korean biotechnology companies participating in the program, along with related networking and partnership activities highlighting new opportunities for global collaboration.
- Cell & Gene Therapy Program Deep Dive 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: The UC Davis Cell & Gene Therapy Program brings together a comprehensive, interdisciplinary network of experts and world-class resources to lead the field of gene therapy. This session will highlight partnership opportunities in licensing intellectual property, industry-sponsored research, manufacturing, clinical trials, and more.
- UC Davis Translational Research Highlights 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Attend curated sessions featuring some of the most commercially compelling intellectual property (IP) emerging from UC Davis research labs, offering a proprietary first look for potential licensees and investors, with a focus on neuroscience and oncology.
BIG Break (Coffee and Networking) 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Please stop by the Chandran Gallery any time after 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 14 to take a BIG break between your meetings. Use this time to recharge with some coffee and snacks while meeting with entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, clinicians, and other experts at the cutting edge of UC Davis human health innovation.
BIG Startup Showcase and Reception 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
The UC Davis Innovation and Economic Development Office BIG Startup Showcase and Reception provides an opportunity for strategic partners and potential investors to engage with UC Davis innovators and their startups via elevator pitches.
