Join CFIN for an exclusive pre-opening tour of the University of British Columbia’s Food and Beverage Innovation Centre (FBIC)—BC’s new hub of food innovation!
Opening later this year, the FBIC will be the first facility of its kind in the province. Its state-of-the-art technologies and expert team will provide food entrepreneurs with research support, specialized labs, and novel processing equipment to help them bring innovative products to market.
Hosted by Lavina Gully, CFIN’s Regional Innovation Director (BC and Yukon), this free event is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in BC’s food innovation ecosystem, meet other CFIN members, and gain insights from researchers and experts at one of Canada’s top food science universities.

About the B.C. Food and Beverage Innovation Centre
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food is supporting the B.C. Food and Beverage Innovation Centre at the UBC Vancouver campus, which is slated to open in 2024. The Centre will advance food and beverage innovation in B.C. through research collaboration with industry and other academic institutions.
