Event Description
Each semester, the University of Baltimore’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) works with students, volunteers and others to host a venture pitch competition, culminating in a final live event at the end of each semester.
Scheduled for May 7, 2025, this annual event features the following 7 finalists, each aiming to win their share of the nearly $30,000 in seed money and professional services to launch or grow their businesses.
- Support and cheer for Baltimore’s budding entrepreneurs as they pitch their new business ideas and concepts to a panel of judges
- Interact with UBalt students and alums, entrepreneurs, business owners and other like-minded people
- Enjoy an evening of entertainment, fun and good cheer!
So, bring your enthusiasm and desire to connect, and we will supply the rest. We hope you will join us.
What: "Rise to the Challenge" Business Pitch Competition

Location: Wright Theatre, UBalt’s campus, In-person only!
