Alumni and members of the community are invited to join us as we take in the beauty of UAA's Anchorage campus in full summer swing. Each session will be from 12-1 p.m. with a starting point in the Rasmuson Hall lobby. Parking is free and light refreshments will be provided!Strolls will take place on the second Friday of each month, rain or shine, as follows:
June 12: We'll take a nature walk around campus and share the inside scoop on birds and other animal that make their home amongst the urban wilderness of campus.
July 10: We'll explore our beautiful garden plots, introduce the creative minds behind their designs and provide a chance to learn about the variety of plants, fruits, and vegetables growing on campus.
August 14: We'll wrap up in August with a tree tour and discuss the variety of tree species on campus as well as their maintenance needs. Our talented grounds crew will provide intel on how they plant and prepare for fall.
