U7's & U6's County Festival 2025

We would like to welcome all clubs, players and supporters within the county for what promises to be a great day of rugby. U7's are invited to take part in games of tag rugby as per RFU guidelines. U6's are invited to take part in a fun-filled energetic training session.

U7s will be playing round robin matches on the pitches just outside the club house.

Your clubs have registered teams for the event, and head coaches will be required to confirm these teams at registration in the club house from 09.30am.

Teams are to consist of a minimum of 4, and a maximum of 6 players

Can we ask all parents remain in the designated viewing areas, and do not enter marked playing pitches. A group warm up will start at 10.15, with Games starting promptly at 10.30am, so please arrive in good time to ensure the children get the most from the short time we have

U6s will be enjoying a fun packed hour of games and exercises on our neighbouring pitches across the road from the main pitches and club house.

To reach these pitches, you will need to cross the small road bridge. Please take care as there is no footpath on the bridge and there will be a large volume of families accessing the pitches at the same time

Please can we ask parents remain in the roped off viewing area (immediately as you enter the field) and do not enter the pitches

Registration @ 09.45am: Please can head coaches ONLY register their U6 players at the club house- Players head straight to the U6 pitches

We are expecting over 200 children to participate in the festival and will appreciate everyone's help to ensure the event runs to time and the children get the best experience.

Parking will be £3 (cash) per car, and includes a festival programme

Parking attendants will be visible and direct you to the Car park in the Chantry Middle School NE61 1RJ -next to the club (see photo below)

Do not park on the residential street of the club (Mitford Road), or along the road outside the U6 pitches. There is no parking at the club house unless you are directed to do so by a parking attendant

Parking attendants are volunteer parents so please help them in their very difficult job, and keep the roads safe for all participants
