About this Event
Join us on Sunday, April 12th from 3-6pm in the Michigan Union Room 2210 for a case competition where students will learn about inclusive design practices and tackle an accessibility-themed case prompt. No prior experience is required, and we encourage undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of programs to participate. Registration on Eventbrite is required, and participants will be sent further details upon registering.
Pitches will be scored by a judge panel, and the winning team will receive a $1,000 prize!
During the event, participants can expect to learn about inclusive design principles from our guest speaker Dr. Laura Murphy. Participants will then work in teams to propose solutions to a real-world accessibility case prompt. Final deliverables will include a brief slide deck and final pitch.
This case comp is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in accessibility in a judgment-free environment. Dinner will be catered. We hope to see you there!
