Tête-à-Tête is an exhibit that embodies the spirit of collaboration. Each piece results from a dialogue between Sami Miranda and other artists, incorporating elements of each artist's practice to create a unique and harmonious blend that transcends individual creativity.
Sami Miranda is a multi-talented individual, a poet, teacher, and visual artist, who has called DC his home for over 35 years. His work, diverse and captivating, has been exhibited in Madrid, Puerto Rico, and the DC metropolitan area. Currently, his work is on display at the Molina Family Gallery at the Smithsonian Museum of American History. It is also part of the University of Maryland Global Campus and various private collections. Miranda's creativity extends beyond visual art; he is the author of three poetry collections and has co-directed and co-produced four short films that have been featured in festivals across the US and internationally.
