About this Event
Ty Smith & The Minor Offenses perform live at Craft Local on May 8, 2026. Opening at 7pm, one Billings' favorite duo's, Holland & Kohl.
At just 17 years old, Oklahoma native Ty Smith is quickly establishing himself as one of the most promising new voices in red dirt country. Born in Tulsa and raised in Sand Springs, Smith grew up immersed in live music at his grandmother’s pool hall — an early influence that shaped both his sound and passion for storytelling. A self-taught drummer and guitarist, he began writing songs at age 12 and has since developed a reputation for emotionally resonant lyrics, dynamic performances, and musical depth far beyond his years.
Smith’s breakout single Rocky Mountain Pines charted in the Texas Top 40, followed by Wonderland and Words I Should’ve Said, which reached the Top 25 and Top 30, respectively. He’s shared the stage with Shane Smith and the Saints and performed at venues including Billy Bob’s and Cain’s Ballroom. With new music on the horizon and national recognition — including 2024 TCMA and Josie Award nominations — Ty Smith continues to prove he's not just a young talent, but a serious artist on the rise.
