Meet Texas Downtown from May 7–8 in Downtown Georgetown—the inaugural winner of the 2025 Texas Downtown President’s Award for Best Texas Downtown (population over 50,000)—for our very first TWO-day Regional Roundtable. Hosted by the Georgetown Downtown & Tourism Department, we’ll kick things off Thursday with a welcome session and lunch at City Post Chophouse—because all great ideas start with great food—before heading out into the streets for guided tours. Expect real talk and real insight on standout businesses, catalytic developments, parking, and the opportunities shaping Georgetown’s success story. Then we wrap the day with a well-earned evening reception at Union Merchant, where networking feels a little less like work and a lot more like fun.
Friday keeps the momentum going with interactive breakout sessions and roundtable discussions covering everything from Small Business Saturday and historic preservation to marketing strategies that actually get people off their couches.
And because two days just isn’t quite enough, we highly recommend sticking around for the weekend. Friday evening brings the Mother’s Day Market at the Light & Waterworks District, and Saturday features the Downtown Georgetown Association’s Second Saturday Market Days—complete with over 150 vendors and a behind-the-scenes look at how this signature event comes together.
