Activity Description: Join us for a unique approach to learning oil painting with this beginner level Oil Painting workshop. In this two week workshop, the student will learn how to use oil paint and its painting mediums to bring the painting to life with color. The student will be taught how to mix paints, use mediums and understand the basics of oil painting. This is a great class for people interested in oil painting but don't have any experience, or for our more seasoned oil painters wishing to learn a fun new technique to add to their artistic toolbox.
- Our Back to the Basics oil painting workshops focus on teaching basic oil painting techniques that will help ease the students gently into a journey of oil painting.
- Each class is guided step-by-step by an experienced instructor.
- Students will learn fundamental techniques in a supportive environment.
- Each workshop focuses on main one key technique, while introducing secondary techniques that work well with the main technique.
- Every student will go home with a complete painting and will gain the knowledge necessary to comfortably step into our Expanding the Basics Oil Painting Workshops with ease and grace.

More Information: This is considered a level 1 beginner class. This level is perfect for beginner level painters wishing to advance, or for those just starting out.
Students will learn the fundamentals of painting and color blending and the basic skills needed to create an amazing painting, guided by an experienced artist. This class starts at the beginning and we focus on the fundamentals of oil painting allowing students to build their talents and create a beautiful piece of art.
