Sky has been a hoop-dance instructor for the past 6 years, teaching at the Pueblo of Pojoaque, Ballet Arizona, and the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community.
This past February, Sky took part as one of the Head Two-Spirit Dancers at the 13th Annual Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirit Pow Wow (BAAITS) in San Francisco. Sky also competed in the 34th Annual World Championship Hoop Dance Competition and placed 6th in the adult division.

She feels that it is important to celebrate the power of community by contributing to the energy of our world with passion, integrity and positivity. Together with each other, we have the opportunity to inspire and educate. Our identities, beautifully diverse and wonderfully unique.
Sky is a California based entertainer hailing from the Paiute and Shoshone tribes of northern Nevada. Beginning in 2016, they began their dance journey throughout the Bay Area’s ballroom, drag and gogo communities. After building a name known for bringing performances ranging from broody and sultry to electric and steamy, they began to create environments prioritizing BIPOC LGBTQIA+ artists, audiences and community organizers. Their projects as well as their stage presence continue to pointedly express their fluidly dynamic approach to gender, sexuality and indigeneity.
