Authors Jordan Stewart and Jordan Trethewey are hitting the road this spring to celebrate the release of their newest books and they’re stopping in Fredericton!Join us at the Fredericton Public Library for an afternoon of live readings from their latest collections of poetry and short prose. Expect writing that is thought‑provoking, whimsical, tender, and hilarious.
Featuring:
Jordan Stewart
Author of the new poetry collection "Sweatshirt" (Galleon Press).
Stewart’s narrative poems blur the line between the everyday and the surreal, exploring love, parenthood, aging, and longing with a voice that’s self‑deprecating, sincere, and quietly strange. His work has appeared in journals across North America, and this marks his fourth published book and third poetry collection.
Jordan Trethewey
Author of "Peculiar Portraits" (Anxiety Press).
Former Fredericton Poet Laureate and writer‑in‑residence at the Fredericton Region Museum, Trethewey’s work is raw, funny, and unflinchingly honest. Peculiar Portraits explores identity, responsibility, and the roles we play in our relationships—holding space for anger, despair, and hope alike.
Come early, find a seat, and enjoy an intimate and memorable reading with two of New Brunswick’s most compelling voices.
All are welcome.
