This practical two-day beginner’s course is a great introduction to the wonderful craft of stained glass.You will learn the necessary steps and techniques involved in making a small stained glass panel (approx. 20cm x 20cm); choosing and cutting glass, leading up, soldering and finally how to clean your panel ready to be hung in your home.
Nikki will provide a choice of designs, a variety of glass as well as essential tools and equipment.
You will need to bring your glasses if you use them for close work. It is recommended that you wear old clothes and wear sturdy boots to work in (no open toe sandals)
Please note we are unable to offer this course to pregnant women or nursing mothers.
Please note there is a £40 material cost payable to the tutor on the day.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch, tea and coffee throughout the day and cake in the afternoon.
