This is a two-day workshop. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. Breakfast snacks, coffee, and lunch will be provided on both days. If you don't need all 15 hours, you may register for the 1st day by itself. If you have questions, please contact [email protected]
Trainer Amy Musick, M.Ed., MS, was the TXAEYC Susan Hargrave Trainer of the Year in 2022. This workshop will cover the basics for a TECPDS application to be a registered trainer. The 15 hrs in the Texas Core Competencies for Trainers are only one of the qualifications for the application. Before registering, please be sure that you have reviewed the remaining required credentials to be a valid applicant at www.tecpds.org.
Throughout this two-day workshop, participants will write their first training. Please be sure to have a laptop (or like device) available for use. If this is an issue, please contact [email protected] for options.

Current Registered Trainers may attend and use these hours for renewal, but much of the information will be a review.
