About this Event
Experience one of Brisbane’s treasured bushland reserves at the magical twilight hour. Discover what makes this precious area special and learn more about our magnificent bushland and its special wildlife as we explore 2.5km of peaceful bushland tracks. Don’t miss this fun family-friendly opportunity for a guided bushwalk with a difference! Moderate fitness required, some gentle climbs, steps and uneven surfaces.

Cost: Free.
Age: Strictly for ages10 years and over. All children must be supervised by an adult booked into the event.
Required arrival and check-in time: 15 minutes before event starts.
Cancellations: If you cannot attend, please cancel promptly via Eventbrite, so others can book a spot.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:
- Maximum 5 tickets per booking. Places are limited, please do not over-book.
- A ratio of 1 adult supervising a maximum of 4 children is required.
- All adults and children must have a ticket.
REQUIREMENTS ON THE DAY:
- Arrive 15 minutes early to check in with staff. Walks start at the advertised time.
- 1:4 adult to child ratio required.
- Moderate fitness required, this track has some gentle climbs, steps and uneven surfaces.
- Wear secure, fully enclosed, comfortable walking shoes.
- Bring a small hand-held torch (no headlamps), water, and insect repellent.
- Lightweight long pants and long sleeves recommended.
- Raincoat and hat if required.
- Please do not leave early. If you need to leave the walk early due to an emergency, please inform our guides.
Meeting point: Downfall Creek Bushland Centre (located in Raven Street Reserve). Free carparking and public toilets at the centre.
Note: This activity will go ahead in light rain. Activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
