Each year we love seeing everybody bring their sparkle and shine bright to help us light up the promenade as we walk toward better health for women. Whether it's through a dazzling outfit, creative accessories, or a radiant attitude, let your unique light shine bright! Don’t miss this chance to make a difference.
What to expect on the day?
Arrive at 7:00pm to collect your bib and warm up before the walk starts at 7:30pm.
You can choose to walk 3km, 5km or 10km.
Whether you prefer to walk as part of a group or explore on your own, this family-friendly event is open to everyone (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). The walk will be starting at Bournemouth – going in the direction of Southbourne and returning to Bournemouth. Our cheerful marshals will be stationed along the route to provide encouragement and ensure a fun and safe experience for all.
Why Walk?
Every step you take will help raise crucial funds for the breast cancer services at University Hospitals Dorset. The money raised will help us enhance the care and treatment of breast cancer patients, enabling us to support our hospitals in ways that are over and above what the NHS can fund.
To help us achieve this, we’re asking each participant to do their best to raise a fundraising target of £75.
