About this Event
Our next poetry workshop, "Twenty Somethings" will explore the beauty and chaos of being in your twenties. For many of us, our twenties are a season of becoming -- full of uncertainty, heartbreak, freedom, joy, and unexpected growth. Through guided poetry prompts and discussion, we will be reflecting on our twenties, on the men and women we used to be, and who we became because of those years. Experimenting with memory-based poetry, we'll dive into themes of identity, transition, love, failure, and self-discovery. We will leave with new poems and a deeper appreciation for the messy and meaningful process of becoming.
Also, this month, Poetry for the Masses turns 2! We will be celebrating the amazing strides our organization has made, in community with all of our poets, friends, and collaborators at our upcoming workshop, and all month long.
Grab your ticket here on Eventbrite, or on Luma and let us know you're coming! Big thank you to Burden of Proof and Beckett's.
