About this Event

Ward Hayden & Greg Hall have spent countless hours together on the road as bandmatesin the country-rock n' roll band, Ward Hayden & The Outliers. All of that time together hasproduced 7 albums, including their first #1 on the alt-country charts with thealbum "LittleBy Little" in 2025. They’ve won seven Boston Music Awards (including Act of the Year), andrecently took home “Country Act” and “Performer of the Year” at the 2025 New England Music Awards.

With their upcoming EP, "Restless", Ward & Greg are focusing on the acoustic side of Americana music, offering intimate and personal songs about the lives they’ve lived and the stories they’ve experienced in their unique corner of New England. The duo plays each instrument on the record and blends their voices to create moments on stage that are engaging, honest, and authentic. The duo’s first single "Forever Homesick" is available now wherever you stream music withmore new music coming out this Summer and Fall. Fans of Jason Isbell, John Moreland and Langhorne Slim will want to hear what Ward Hayden & Greg Hall have to offer on their studio recordings and from the stage.

Charlie Marie's 2021 debut, Ramble On, earned critical acclaim and found its way onto taste-making playlists across major streaming platforms—but its success brought pressures she wasn't prepared for. What followed was a string of losses: a relationship ended, a close collaborator departed, her grandmother's health declined, and her fatherdied unexpectedly. With nothing left to hold onto, she packed her Toyota Yaris and drove—from Rhode Island to Alaska and back—with no plan and no destination.

That journey became Signs, out June 5. Produced by Boston-based country-rock band These Wild Plains and recorded at Rusty's Recording Studio in Salem, MA, the album documents what she found on the road: kindness from strangers, comfort in nature, and a hard-won sense of self. Rooted in classic country but colored by folk-rock, Americana, and the influence of John Denver, Joni Mitchell, and Linda Ronstadt, Signs marks a significant leap from her debut—the work of an artist who got lost on purpose and came back knowing exactly who she is.

For two decades, Twangville has been a devoted champion of Americana music, shining a spotlight on the artists who give the genre its heart and soul. Whether celebrating beloved favorites or introducing emerging talents, they’ve showcased some of the most compelling voices in music through passionate album reviews, insightful interviews, exclusive videos, and even hosting memorable live performances. Their commitment to discovery and storytelling has made Twangville a trusted home for those who love and support independent music.

Founded in 2005, Twangville is a music review website covering all corners of Americana, including folk, country, bluegrass, rock, and blues.
