TV FREAKS (Hamilton, ON)
Hamilton, Ontario’s TV FREAKS have spent the past 15 years turning restless energy into jagged, hook-heavy punk that can swing from buzzsaw blast to melodic churn without losing its teeth. Built in the city’s rust, noise, and late-night basements, and road-tested everywhere from DIY rooms to big stages, the band plays with the kind of tightness that only comes from 15+ years of shared muscle memory.
TV Freaks return with Blue Genie, quietly released on Oct. 30, 2025, their first album in five years. Recorded largely by vocalist David O’Connor, mixed by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Total Control), and mastered by Jeremy Greenspan (Junior Boys), the record pushes the band into stranger, more open-hearted territory while keeping the bite intact.
