About this Event
TuYo (YouMe) is a San Diego theatre company producing award-winning works that represent diverse Latinx perspectives. Written by Mario Vega, "Our Lady of the San Diego Convention Center” takes us into the lives of Lulu and Milli, two youth care workers at a shelter for young migrant girls housed at the San Diego Convention Center. Facing ever-changing rules and restrictions, their journey reveals the human cost of a broken system and the emotional toll it takes on those who are trying to help.
