Liam the green sea turtle came to the Sanctuary a few months ago with floating syndrome and has spent the last few months in the Turtle Triage at the Sanctuary, getting the care needed to get back to health, and back to the ocean.The rescue, rehabilitation and release of marine animals at the Sanctuary is made possible by a dedicated team of volunteers, sponsors and supporters.
Bring your family and friends to share in this magical experience as we wish this rehabilitated turtle well on its next chapter back in the ocean.
Important Details:
Please arrive promptly – turtle releases happen very quickly to minimise stress on the animal, especially after travel.
Look for the Sanctuary flags on the beach to find us.
Please remember that all releases are tide and weather dependent, and may be cancelled at any time for the welfare of the turtle.
