Tony Monaco, front man of Turnstiles, with his great voice (hits all the notes perfectly with ease), and his great musicians portray the music of Billy Joel to a tee. Monaco’s been playing in bands since his first Styx-esque bands of the ‘80s. He played in a few cover acts for parties and weddings before settling into what he calls an “age-appropriate” role with Turnstiles.
Turnstiles specializes in a very specific Billy Joel experience. Monaco has the agency to put his own spin on things, interact with the crowd as himself, as much as a Joel-influenced persona. He also carefully enlisted some of the finest musicians in South Florida who join him in paying tribute to Billy Joel, the man so much respect and admiration for, creating a unique show.
Turnstiles faithfully recreates Billy Joel’s classics with a totally live band that truly sets them apart from the pack!
